Physiotherapist:
Mark Hanegraaf: Provider Number 2422774H
Mark has had a passion for sports and performance from a young age. A promising junior athlete Mark showed talent
in cricket, swimming and football (AFL). At the age of 14 Mark decided to place his main focus on football, entering the
elite junior feeder system. He progressed through the Hampden Schoolboys, Geelong legend squad, Geelong Falcons and then into the VFL
with the Preston Knights (affiliated at the time with Collingwood football club as their designated reserves grade side).
During this time Mark took a keen interest in the field of sports science, in particularly Physiotherapy
and its ability to maximise sports performance.
Mark topped his class in each of the 4 years of his Physiotherapy studies, winning him the Josephine Jennings & Edith Pratt
memorial prize, awarded by the APA (Victorian Branch) for gaining the highest percentage of marks over the complete
Bachelor of Physiotherapy Course.
Mark brought his Physiotherapy technique to Noosa in 2001 when he joined the team at the Noosa Hospital.
Mark quickly progressed to head of the Allied Health department, team member at the Sunshine Coast Rehabilitation
Services and then found his niche in the Outpatient department.
In 2003 Mark opened his Private business (P3 Physiotherapy) at the Noosa Hospital as an outpatient Physiotherapy service.
In this clinic Mark successfully treated both general public and high level athletes including Olympians, world title holders
and former world number one athletes.
Mark also kept a keen interest in football, putting time aside to be team Physiotherapist for the Noosa tigers for 3 years
until a growing family required him to stand aside.
Due to a desire to bring Hyperbaric therapy to the Sunshine Coast, better utilise live muscle analysis via EMG and expand his core training
facility Mark moved his business to a larger facility in Mary Street in October 2013 where he continues to further develop his unique skillset
today.
